Who we are

Trigger AI Ltd is the data controller for everything described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17185228, and we work out of London. There are two of us, and between us we are the only people who see what you send.

For anything on this page, email privacy@usetrigger.co.uk. It reaches both of us, so a request does not sit in one person’s inbox while they are away.

What this site does not do

Worth putting first, because it is the part most privacy notices bury. This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising tag, and nothing is written to your browser’s storage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google, so loading a page here does not tell anyone else that you were here. Every page except the booking flow and the admin panel ships without any JavaScript at all.

Nothing we run records that you read this page. Vercel, who host the site, keep their own short-lived logs of requests, the way any host does.

What we collect, and when

Nothing until you fill something in. There is one place on this site where you can send us anything, and that is the booking flow at /book.

It asks a short series of questions and we get the answers: your name, your role, your website, what is draining your team’s time, what you are running today, your email address, and any detail you add at the end. Alongside those it records your time zone, the page you started from and the site that referred you, so we know where a conversation began.

If you have JavaScript turned off you get a plain form instead, which asks for your name, your website, your email address and a short note, and sends the same way.

The flow gives your session a random reference so the answers arrive together. It lives in the page’s memory only and is gone the moment you close the tab, so it cannot be used to recognise you later.

If you go on to book a call, Calendly runs the calendar itself and tells us which event and invitee record it created, so the booking can be matched to your answers.

The booking flow saves as you go

This is the part worth being explicit about, because it is not what most forms do. The flow records each answer as you give it, not only when you reach the end. If you type your email address and then close the tab, we still have what you entered up to that point, and we are told that you left.

We do it because a half-finished form usually means a question was badly asked, and we would rather know than guess. If you would rather we did not keep it, email us and it goes.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We rely on legitimate interests to answer an enquiry and arrange the call you asked for, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not use any of it for advertising. We do not build profiles. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Who else handles it

• Vercel hosts this site and runs the endpoint the booking flow posts to. What you send passes through their infrastructure and appears in our server logs.
• Make receives each submission through a webhook, emails it to us and files a copy.
• Calendly runs the scheduling widget and holds the booking. Its script loads on /book only, and only once you reach the calendar step.

Vercel and Calendly are US companies, so some of this is processed outside the UK.

How long we keep it

Twenty four months from the last time we heard from you, and then we delete it. If you become a client, the agreement we sign sets its own terms and this notice stops being the thing that governs it.

What you can ask us to do

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, object to us holding it at all, or hand it over in a portable form.

Email privacy@usetrigger.co.uk and we will do it. There is no form and no process. There are two of us and one webhook, so this is a short conversation.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, but you do not have to.

Changes to this notice

If it changes, the date at the top changes with it. This page is a file in the same repository as the rest of the site, so its history is a commit log rather than a claim.
